Meeting called to order by President Rank at 7:00 PM

Approval of the agenda – Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen – All Ayes – MOTION CARRIED

Approval of regular council meeting minutes for November 10, 2011 – Motion by Hook, support by Siderman – All Ayes – MOTION CARRIED

Review of bills for November/December 2011 – Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen to approve bills – Roll Call: AYES: Kinzel, Hook, Pallin, Rank, Kilgus, Hansen, Siderman – NAYES – NONE – MOTION CARRIED

Treasurer Olney – Treasurers report reviewed – Motion by Kinzel, support by Hook to accept report – All Ayes – MOTION CARRIED

Water/Sewer – Chairman Kilgus: Hydraulic Study required by DNR is underway (cost of $12,000) – new metal detector okayed by Blake Smith to come out of loan – Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen to purchase metal detector from C & S Solutions for $4,554.74 – Roll Call: AYES: Pallin, Rank, Kilgus, Hansen, Siderman, Hook – NAYES – Kinzel – MOTION CARRIED

Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen to pay Gosling Czubak $600.00 for current work on the hydraulic study – Roll Call: AYES: Siderman, Kinzel, Hook, Pallin, Rank, Kilgus, Hansen – NAYES – NONE – MOTION CARRIED

Upgrades are needed to electrical panel in order to read water levels in tank – Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen to approve $700.00 to Windemuller for upgrades – Roll Call – AYES: Hook, Pallin, Rank, Kilgus, Hansen, Siderman, Kinzel – NAYES – NONE – MOTION CARRIED

Generator needed to run panel in case of power outage - Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen to purchase generator from Honor Supply for $300.00 – Roll Call: AYES: Rank, Hook, Hansen, Kinzel, Siderman, Kilgus, Pallin – NAYES – NONE – MOTION CARRIED

Compressor needed to blow out water lines – Motion by Kilgus, support by Hansen to approve $79.99 for compressor – Roll Call: AYES: Hansen, Siderman, Kinzel, Kilgus, Pallin, Rank, Hook – NAYES – NONE – MOTION CARRIED

Chemical monitor needed – Brian to order – all above items are purchased from loan money

Law/Finance – Chairperson Hansen: No further report

Building/Grounds – Chairman Siderman: In wind storm – doors were blown off the sand building – check with the insurance agent and obtain bids – work planned for spring unless there are objections

Parks/Rec – Chairman Pallin: Thanks to the budget committee for including money for electrical update in the RV Park

Equipment – Chairman Hook: Equipment ready for winter – hold off on painting sander truck – body needs work – expensive

Streets/Sidewalks – Chairman Kinzel: Waterfront plan cost came in at $100,000.00 over planned budget – meeting on Friday to reassess and make determination on how to proceed – continue to pursue other grants – use money from CD to continue with Streetscape – look into purchasing Bowling Alley - discussion ensued – Rank and Siderman support Streetscape but must be accomplished timely and fiscally responsibly – Motion by Kinzel, support by Hook to approve $22,444.00 for Gosling Czubak for work on waterfront project – Roll Call: AYES: Kinzel, Hook, Pallin, Rank, Kilgus, Hansen, Siderman – NAYES – NONE – MOTION CARRIED

Superintendent Moore – Equipment ready – 26 trees planted throughout town

Rank – overview of items accomplished for Village in 2011, thanks to Beulah Boosters for all their help in moving forward – beachfront grant obtained, new well installed, electronic water meters purchased which will improve accuracy in readings, energy updates at the Village Office, new pipes and valves installed at the sewer ponds, tractor mower purchased and new V-Plow

Siderman stated these were accomplished and fiscal responsibility was maintained – please also keep alert to stealing occurring in Village and surrounding area

Vicki Carpenter – Christmas Magic – Friday and Saturday – cookie sale and parade at 5:30 PM – prizes will be awarded thanks to CLCBA – thanks to Dan, Bonnie, Steve, and Peggy for decorations at Trailhead and Pavilion – trees in town from Tim Quick, newsletter will be out in January

Bonnie Smith stated the Village looks good – Rank thanked Smitty's for donating work to hang lights on Park tree
