Historical phrase for the back of the Welcome to Beulah signs brought back. Trustee Kilgus researched and found the phrase, “Leaving Beulah where one vacation leads to another,” was used many years ago and added it to the new signs.

Thanks for your Service:

The Village Council regretfully accepted the resignation of Trustee Diane Elliott at the August meeting. Diane has been a solid supporter of Beulah and she will be missed. Next, the Council accepted nominations for the vacant seat and Pat Elliott (Diane’s husband) was voted to fill the seat.

Good-bye to Quilts by the Lake : Labor Day weekend marked the last day for this mother/daughter

business. Opened in 1980 by Marjorie, who will remain in Beulah and daughter, Rebecca will move to Wisconsin to join her husband. Many well wishers came through the store and many quilting memories were shared, our best wishes and thanks to both of them.
